APRIL MEETING

Please join us Thursday, April 15, for our monthly Madison PRSA Networking Luncheon.

TOPIC: April is APR Month!

You've got the drive, determination and diligence to succeed in public relations - now discover how accreditation can help your career. The Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) designation proves you have successfully demonstrated competency in the knowledge, skills and abilities required to practice public relations effectively in today's business arena.

Barb Hernandez, APR, will walk you through the APR process. Accredited since 1990, Barb has worked in the public relations field for more than three decades. She recently participated in a Readiness Review Panel in Appleton and has been chairperson of the APR Committee in Madison for two years. She's also assisted in two Jumpstart sessions for Wisconsin practitioners in the past three years.

Barb says accreditation is easier - and more important - than you might think. Come join us for an interactive session on moving up that next rung on the PR career ladder: the APR.
