The Science & Anger of Social Media
Thursday, June 22
What makes people mad? Why do people express anger online so openly? Dr. Ryan Martin, Psychology Chair and Professor of Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, will provide insights into these and other related topics to help communication professionals deal more effectively with anger on social media. The presentation also addresses the universal challenge of how to de-escalate online anger. The Science of Anger and Social Media is an opportunity to receive educated, research-driven insights into why people act the way they do on your social media sites. The program is ideal for PR and marketing practitioners, community relations professionals, and anyone who manages social media.
