Beyond Beer & Cheese: Expanding the perception of Wisconsin with #ThinkMakeHappen
Wednesday, Oct. 18
Join us for a breakfast discussion with Kelly Lietz of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation as he shares the challenge – and opportunity – of promoting Wisconsin to people seeking the best location to pursue their passions.
Wisconsin has long been known to the world for its beer, cheese, cold winters and the best team and fans in the National Football League. But as Wisconsinites, we know that Wisconsin has so much more to offer, and Think-Make-Happen In Wisconsin is a new marketing initiative designed to expand those perceptions and showcase what makes the state a premier destination for business, career and personal fulfillment.
Hear more about how the nationwide workforce challenge is shifting the agency’s work from attracting businesses to attracting people and the years-long work and research involved in creating and launching this campaign. In addition, we invite you to join in a discussion on how PR professionals can engage with #ThinkMakeHappen to benefit Wisconsin, your clients and your own businesses by building and attracting a strong, talented workforce.
