Mel Charbonneau Bio
Mel serves as the director of communications for Madison College and is responsible for developing and guiding the institution’s multifaceted communications plan and strategy. She oversees internal, external and executive communications, and ensures alignment of all communication efforts with the college's mission and overall strategic goals. Prior to joining Madison College, Mel spent over a decade as an entrepreneur, launching a women’s retail brand focused on apparel, stationery and gifts, garnering interest from The TODAY Show and several other media outlets along the way. She is sought-after for her creative vision, ability to distill complex ideas and develop key messaging, and successfully managing the launches of new brands, products and events. Her unique skill is creating alignment over all creative areas and telling the brand story with unified, authentic messaging, as well as bringing audiences into unique and memorable brand experiences.
